Issue Five winner Xanthi Barker will be in attendance reading from her winning short story Love In The Time of Ketamine, as well as a reading of Issue Five’s Mother’s Day from David Gill.
Doors open at 7pm and things should kick off at around 8pm. There’s a bar open all evening so fill your boots, it might even take your minds and eyes off the surrounding baked confectionary treats.
ENTRY IS FREE. We love keeping things free at Open Pen, we want our magazine to be as inclusive is as possible, and for that reason shall be remaining free for as long as we can. Literature, after all, can be for everyone, not just those that can afford it.
For more information on the evening, contact us at email@example.com.

For anyone that doesn’t have a copy of Issue Five yet, you can pick one up on the evening, fret not.
